Have you ever seen flooring more gorgeous and unique than the one pictured above? A fun new trend I found via Elle Decor is the mixture of hexagonal tiles and hardwood flooring. I could see this working well in a kitchen space, an entry way or even a bathroom, as pictured below. The contrasting tiles work to pull interest to certain areas in a space. This has to be one of the most interesting trends I've seen in interior design and I can't wait to see it more in home design as time goes on. What used to be a flooring style only found in trendy cafes can now be easily done in any home space with just a few of the right tools and some creative thinking!
